About the Author
Mike Watson was adopted as a child, an experience that shaped a lifelong search for identity and meaning. That early beginning led him not only to reconnect with his biological roots, but also to a deeper exploration of gratitude, love, and purpose.
In 1991, he founded Gallery of Diamonds.
In 1993, he created the Why Mom Deserves a Diamond® contest, which has since invited thousands of students to express gratitude, love, and appreciation through their words. For more than three decades, it has helped children, families, and educators reflect on the power of recognition and heartfelt expression.
Through decades of personal reflection, Watson has explored a central question: what does it mean to be loved, and how do we live from that awareness?
Living Promises is the culmination of that inward journey- detailing powerful principles that help us understand that peace, purpose, and wholeness have always been within us.
