The Umbrella Parade

Tradition of Love and Gratitude
The first Umbrella Parade was held on Diamond Day, 2017. It began as public gesture to honor our mothers and all those who are significant in our lives. Today, all attendees on Diamond Day can participate following the award ceremony by marching around the nearby pond with raised umbrellas. Nearby businesses peer from windows and await this annual event with anticipation. The black and white umbrella has become a symbol of celebration of knowing we can achieve all things when we know we are loved.
